Faceted Smoked Black Welo Opal 5 carat Set

Our Faceted Welo Smoked Black Opal 5 carat Set is hand cut and polished from Ethiopian Opal that has been 'smoked', a process that darkens the opals.

These Welo Smoked Black Opals are sold as a randomly selected 5 carat set and will be of similar cut, size, and quality as the sample photos shown. The pieces range from approximately 5-10mm and are fully faceted.

Each 5 carat purchase will come in their own gem box.

**Welo Opals are hydrophane, which means they are porous and will adsorb water.  When wet, they will lose flash until they dry out.**
